POW/MIA MEMORIAL - September, 2009
Thanks to everyone who helped organize and set up our POW/MIA ceremony. A special Thanks goes to North Port Commissioner Jim Blucher for speaking at our event and Lois Ertle for being our Guest Speaker. Also, thanks to the Nam Knights for escorting the POW/MIA flag to our post. There were over 40 motorcycles escorted by the North Port Police department. The Marine Corps League Det 948 and the VFW 8203 Honor Guard helped make our flag ceremony special and the AMVETS Sons provided a great meal.
